Seven Potomac Region Companies to Present at Southeast Venture Conference
McLean, Va. (PRWEB) February 14, 2008 -- The Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) announced that seven Potomac-area companies have been selected to present at the upcoming event scheduled for February 27-28 in Tysons Corner, Virginia. A total of 40 companies from the southeast and mid-Atlantic will be presenting to over $50 billion in private equity investment at the annual event.
Presenting companies range from late-stage pre-IPO firms to earlier stage firms from a variety of technology industries. The Potomac region presenting companies include:

In addition to showcasing some of the most promising emerging technology firms in the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions, the SEVC will feature venture capital and entrepreneurial oriented panels, numerous networking opportunities and dozens of prominent speakers such as craigslist founder, Craig Newmark; former Apple CEO, John Sculley; Salesforce.com President, Jim Steele and a number of key players from the Potomac technology and venture community. Frank Bonsal, Founding Partner of venture fund NEA and Sourcefire's CEO, Wayne Jackson, headline 12 Potomac area speakers.
